Wombats are close relatives to koalas. There are three species of wombats in Australia. The Common Wombat is the most common one, while the other two, the Northern and Southern Hairy Nosed Wombats are endangered. So if you go to chase them with your camera, go to south eastern parts of Australia where the common wombat is found in eastern Victoria, southern New South Wales and in the whole Tasmania.
