What Do Sharks Eat?

So what do sharks eat?

Well it really depends on the species of the shark as they vary in size and diet.

Most sharks are carnivores (meat eaters).

Between the different species sharks eat lots of different food from as small as plankton, molluscs and crustaceans, to as large as marine mammals and other sharks.

Tiger sharks are known to be scavengers, bull sharks to eat other sharks, and hammerheads to favour stingrays.

But all also eat other things, including invertebrates, fish, sea snakes, sea birds, sea turtles and sea lions to name a few.
