Golden Wattle

Golden Wattle is the national flower of Australia.

It is a small-tree sized plant with bright green leaves and beautiful yellow flowers - the two national colours of Australia.


It grows in dry heaths and forests on stony and sandy ground on the coast as well as inland.

It is most widespread in Victoria, but also found in pockets in New South Wales, eastern parts of South Australia, and south western Western Australia.
