Exploring Melbourne

My husband and I went to Melbourne last May 2009 by train from Sydney. It was a long trip as it took us the whole day but it was worth it. We stayed with our cousins in Caroline Springs for 3 days. We went to Docklands, Melbourne City Museum and even toured inside the City Hall. We went around the city on foot. We loved Melbourne and we would like to go back someday.

Thanks for your photo and the little story! Yes, i know the train from Sydney to Melbourne takes a loooooooooong time. Makes you realise what a huge country Australia is. I am glad you could spend three days in this fantastic city! But yes, you could revisit and spend lots more time, there is so much to explore in Melbourne!
